REMODELER - CARPENTER JOB SUMMARY

Homewise Properties is currently looking for skilled and motivated people to add to our remodeling team. This person will be part of a team that is responsible for remodeling, rehabbing and repairing residential and commercial rental properties. You will work with a small business that is focused on growing as a team and helping each team member develop their career.

COMPENSATION

$20-$25hourly starting pay for qualified applicants This position starts out as a 1099 contract with the option to become a permanent team member after 90 days. This is a full-time position (36-40+ hours) and typically opportunities for overtime.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Communicates clearly and takes responsibility for asking questions as needed. Follow instructions Familiarity with various building materials and installation processes Work diligently to produce high quality housing for our customers and tenants. ABILITIES

Ability to read a tape measure Must be capable of working well in a team setting or independently Diligently maintain a teachable attitude and an open, growth mindset. Motivated to and capable of overcoming obstacles such as distractions, unexpected site conditions, or changing scope of work. Positive, action-oriented mindset. Must have at least 1 year of experience with at least 2 building trades or remodeling. Must be at least 18 years old. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be willing to provide basic tools in conjunction with pay increases
