Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofing Contractor to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on commercial, and industrial buildings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on diverse projects, utilizing construction experience to deliver durable and reliable roofing solutions that meet client specifications and safety regulations. Responsibilities Install a variety of roofing systems including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other specialized materials. Conduct roofing repairs by replacing damaged sections, sealing leaks, and applying waterproofing techniques. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and heavy lifting equipment to complete tasks efficiently. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations, including the proper use of safety harnesses and fall protection equipment. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, or drywall installers to coordinate work efforts. Maintain a clean and organized worksite while following all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during outdoor work activities. Requirements Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing installation and repair. Knowledge of various roofing materials including metal roofing, single-ply membranes, shingles, and waterproofing systems. Familiarity with construction safety harnesses, ladder use protocols, and general construction workplace safety regulations. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, caulking guns; power tools like drills and saws; and fabrication equipment. Experience working outdoors in diverse weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred. Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
