Candidates with no prior sheet metal roofing experience are encouraged to apply and will receive hands-on training. Experienced sheet metal roofers and candidates with leadership experience may be considered for advanced responsibilities. Position level, responsibilities, and compensation will be determined based on each candidate's experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities Assist in the installation and repair roofing systems using materials such as metal trim and metal roofing. Assist roof inspections for damage and determine the best repair methods or replacement needs. Follow direction of their supervisor with guidance to perform certain tasks of the roof installation. Follow company safety procedures, job-site rules, ensure team compliance with safety guidelines, and all required use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Remove existing roofing materials, debris, and other materials from the job site. Prepare roof surfaces and work areas for installation or repair. Measure, cut, fit, secure, and install roofing materials according to project requirements. Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Support the Foreman, crew members, and other departments with additional duties as needed. Qualifications No prior sheet metal roofing experience is required for entry-level candidates. Ability to use or learn to use hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment safely. Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and communicate effectively. Willingness to learn, develop new skills, and accept increasing responsibility. Roofing, construction, or related trade experience is preferred for experienced-level placement. Knowledge of roofing systems, materials, tools, and techniques is preferred for experienced candidates. Problem-solving and decision-making skills are required for advanced or leadership-level responsibilities. Must be comfortable with heights. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Must be able to work in the U.S. Working Conditions Work outdoors in various weather conditions Exposure to heights and potentially hazardous materials Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and appropriate workwear is required Full-Time, typically 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime. Hours may vary due to project schedules, weather conditions such as rain, and operational needs.
