Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roofer Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will support roofing projects by assisting skilled roofers with various tasks on construction sites. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure that roofing installations, repairs, and restorations are completed efficiently and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in roofing and general construction while contributing to high-quality project outcomes. Duties Assist roofers with installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems using hand tools and power tools Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment in accordance with safety standards Carry materials such as shingles, metal panels, or insulation to designated areas on the roof or ground level Support the framing, sheathing, and flashing processes by handling materials and performing light carpentry tasks Help with site cleanup, debris removal, and organizing tools and materials for efficient workflow Follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions to ensure accurate placement of roofing components Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials around the site as needed Skills Basic knowledge of construction estimating and blueprint reading to understand project requirements Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) used in roofing projects Experience working on construction sites with exposure to roofing, framing, masonry or restoration work Familiarity with schematics, metal stud framing, plumbing, tile laying or stucco is a plus for versatile support roles Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in physically demanding environments Strong understanding of safety protocols related to working at heights and using scaffolding or ladders Excellent teamwork skills complemented by handyman experience or carpentry background Join us in building durable roofs that stand the test of time!
