American Roofing and Exteriors is expanding our Helena operation , and we're looking for good people who know how to work. We are offering year-round employment and opportunity to advance. We're hiring everything from laborers and installers to experienced crew leaders and supervisors. If you're newer to the trades but dependable, willing to learn, and aren't afraid of hard work, there may be a spot for you. If you're an experienced roofer, siding installer, or supervisor who can run a crew and put out a quality finished product, we're willing to pay for that experience. Pay ranges from $18/hour to $35+/hour depending on your position, experience, and ability. What Kind of Experience Are We Looking For?

ROOFING:

We're especially interested in applicants with experience installing: Asphalt shingles Standing seam metal roofing Tuff-rib / exposed-fastener metal roofing Decra / DaVinci Cedar Shake Know commercial or low-slope roofing too? Even better. Experience with EPDM, TPO, and PVC roofing systems is a big plus.

SIDING & EXTERIORS

We're looking for people familiar with: James Hardie siding LP SmartSide Diamond Kote siding systems Metal siding Vinyl siding Soffit and fascia Exterior trim Window installation experience is also a plus. You don't need experience with every product on this list. If you're good at your trade and willing to learn, we still want to hear from you.

EXPERIENCED CREW LEADS & SUPERVISORS

We're also looking for people who can run work, not just do work. If you can take a project, organize a crew, maintain quality, solve problems, and get the job finished correctly and efficiently, we're especially interested in talking with you. Our supervisors and crew leaders should be able to: Lead and motivate a crew Understand proper roofing and/or siding installation Maintain high-quality workmanship Keep projects organized and moving Communicate with project managers and homeowners Identify problems before they become expensive problems Maintain a safe and clean jobsite Train less-experienced employees Take responsibility for the finished product If you've got the experience and can lead, we'll compensate you accordingly.

MOST OF OUR WORK IS LOCAL

This position is based out of Helena, Montana . The majority of our projects are located throughout the Helena Valley and surrounding communities , so you'll generally be working close to home. There will be some travel depending on our workload and project locations, so applicants need to be willing to travel when necessary. PAY $18.00 - $35.00+ per hour Your starting wage will depend on what you bring to the table. If you're starting out and need training, expect to start toward the lower end of the range. If you're an experienced installer who can work independently, you'll earn accordingly. If you can lead crews, manage projects, troubleshoot problems, and consistently deliver quality work , we're prepared to pay for that ability.
