- Construction Laborer
- Roofs, Gutters, & Exteriors Elite Roof and Solar is looking to add construction laborers to our Roof and Gutter crews.
We are looking for individuals interested in either starting or continuing their career in construction, ideally with prior construction or roofing experience. Individuals will work with Elite Roof and Solar personnel and other subcontractors as required to accomplish a job. These individuals would be primarily located out of our Cornelius, NC warehouse, but will be required to travel throughout all of Western North Carolina as projects and customer needs dictate. Duties Removal of existing roof systems and installation of our roofing (steep slope) systems following the recommended manufacturer's installation instructions and Elite Roof and Solar's "Elite Roof" instructions. Perform gutter installation, cleaning, and repair to ensure proper drainage and protection of structures. Maintain a clean and organized job site, following all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols. Help maintain warehouse to ensure cleanliness and organization Interact and work well with owners, customers, co-workers, managers, crews and inter-office personnel, etc. Must be adaptable to constantly changing environments and work places Additional duties and responsibilities as required Requirements Prior construction experience or background in roofing (steep slope), gutters, or exterior building projects preferred. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment effectively. Physically capable of handling all aspects of roofing repairs & installs, gutter removal and installations, including lifting 50lbs. and climbing up and down ladders Maintain all OSHA and other industry standards for safety and compliance Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills Hold and maintain a valid driver's License Reliable transportation to and from the Cornelius, NC warehouse Authorized to work in the United States Good computer skills helpful Excellent communicator, both oral and written

- $40,000
