Job Description
I'm helping a residential roofing company find an experienced shingler for full-time, on-site work in Buffalo, New York. This is for someone who already knows how to install and fasten shingles properly, handle flashing and expansion joints, and make clean cuts around corners, pipes, and other roof details. You'll also inspect residential properties and determine what repairs are needed. The company is looking for at least three years of shingle installation experience, not someone starting from scratch.
Compensation :
$25- 40 an hour
Responsibilities:
- Apply and fasten shingle roofing materials on residential properties.
- Size and cut roofing materials to fit correctly around corners, pipes, and other details.
- Set flashing and expansion joints.
- Inspect residential properties and determine the repairs needed.
Qualifications:
- At least three years of shingle installation experience.
- At least 18 years old.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Able to climb ladders and work at minimum heights of 25 feet.
- Reliable transportation.
Pay:
$25.00- $40.
