Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Framer to join our dynamic construction team. As a Lead Framer, you will coordinate with project managers, manage a team of skilled carpenters and apprentices, and execute complex framing tasks with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in metal building erection, concrete forming, and blueprint interpretation will drive project success from start to finish. Duties Lead and supervise framing crews to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety and quality standards Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to execute accurate framing layouts Oversee the installation of metal studs, wood framing, drywall, stucco, siding, and trim carpentry components Manage the setup and assembly of concrete forms and rebar installation for foundations and structural elements Operate power tools, heavy equipment, and hand tools safely and efficiently on site Conduct dimensional measurements using tape measures and other tools to ensure precise framing alignments Coordinate with project managers to interpret construction plans and adjust workflows as needed Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to heavy lifting, scaffolding, roofing, welding, and other high-risk activities Maintain clear communication with team members regarding daily objectives and technical requirements Assist in troubleshooting on-site issues related to framing or structural components during construction Experience Proven experience in wood frame carpentry within residential construction environments Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings Demonstrated ability to lead a team of carpenters or framers effectively in fast-paced settings Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and woodworking techniques Familiarity with masonry work, plastering, roofing systems, drywall installation, stucco application, siding installation, and remodeling projects Ability to interpret technical schematics accurately while adhering to dimensional measurements and specifications Prior experience in construction management or supervising multiple trades is highly desirable Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in framing tasks Strong commitment to safety practices related to heavy lifting, scaffolding use, welding procedures, and site restoration Join us as a Lead Framer if you're passionate about building structures that stand the test of time!
