Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on commercial buildings, ensuring safety, durability, and quality standards are met. Duties Install and repair a variety of roofing systems including single-ply membrane roofing, metal roofing, and other commercial roofing materials. Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to accurately execute roofing projects. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks. Conduct roof inspections to identify damage or potential issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Ensure compliance with all construction workplace safety regulations by utilizing safety harnesses, ladder use protocols, and other safety equipment. Assist with siding installation, drywall work, caulking, stucco application, and other exterior building finishes as needed. Perform heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing installation and repair. Knowledge of roofing materials such as metal roofing, single-ply membrane systems, and tile laying. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading technical drawings or plans. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and fabrication techniques. Understanding of construction safety harnesses, ladder use procedures, and adherence to construction workplace safety regulations. Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately. Strong outdoor work experience with the physical stamina required for heavy lifting and extended outdoor hours. Additional skills such as siding installation, drywall finishing, caulking, stucco application, metal stud framing, remodeling, concrete forming or handyman experience are a plus.
