Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Technician specializing in roofing, siding, and window installation. This role involves working outdoors on various residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with roofing, siding, and window installation, utilizing hand tools and power tools to complete projects efficiently and accurately. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction tasks, including metal roofing and roofing repairs, in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Perform roofing tasks including installation, repair, and maintenance of different roofing types such as metal roofing. Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and install siding materials with precision. Install windows according to project specifications while ensuring proper sealing and insulation. Work safely at heights using ladders and other equipment, following all safety protocols to prevent accidents. Conduct siding installation on various structures, ensuring durability and aesthetic quality. Assist with roofing repairs by identifying issues and applying appropriate solutions efficiently. Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools and materials are properly handled and stored. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality. Experience Previous outdoor construction work experience is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with roofing, including metal roofing installation and repair. Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, saws, and measuring devices. Experience operating power tools safely in a construction setting. Familiarity with ladder use for working at heights safely. Knowledge of siding installation techniques for various materials. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about construction trades who are committed to craftsmanship and safety standards. Candidates should be prepared for outdoor work environments requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.
