Duties Operate and maintain equipment to perform street repairs, paving, and plowing, etc. Assist with maintenance and repair of all city streets. General housekeeping and maintenance of Street Department buildings and grounds. Assists in installing safety barriers, signage, and traffic control devices. Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High school graduate or equivalent. Basic knowledge of construction practices and site safety procedures. Ability to operate machinery or learn to operate machinery confidently. Ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license. Valid Federal CDL, or must obtain within 1 year of employment. Ability to work well with other employees. Ability to attend classes/seminars. Benefits Employer paid pension through OPERS.
