The ideal candidate will have outdoor work experience, demonstrate proficiency with ladder use and power tools, and adhere strictly to safety protocols. Duties Perform roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance on various types of roofing materials. Safely set up and use ladders to access rooftops, ensuring stability and security during work. Operate power tools such as nail guns, drills, and saws efficiently and safely. Inspect roofs for damage or potential issues, providing recommendations for repairs or replacements. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain cleanliness of the work site, including proper disposal of debris and materials. Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly. Requirements Proven outdoor work experience, preferably in construction or roofing environments. Ability to safely operate ladders and work at heights comfortably. Proficiency with power tools commonly used in roofing projects. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to roofing and construction sites. Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license may be preferred depending on job location. Assist in roof inspections, simple repairs, material handling, site preparation, and job-site cleanup. Assist in loading service vehicles and reporting basic material needs. Learn safe use of ladders, tools, and equipment. Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines. Participate in open communication and collaborative reporting. Receive ongoing training in repair/maintenance materials and safety/site plan procedures. Report additional scopes immediately and communicate scheduling/availability proactively. Participate in the on-call program as required. Keep the shop and job sites clean and orderly at all times: actively participate in daily cleanup, proper tool/material storage, debris removal, and organization to promote teamwork, pride in workmanship, safety, and a professional appearance.
