is looking for a dependable, hardworking Exterior Build Pro to join our team. We build fences, decks, gates, patio covers, and other outdoor projects, and we take pride in quality workmanship. We work year-round, and construction experience is preferred, but we will train the right person. Dependability, work ethic, willingness to learn, and taking pride in your work are just as important as experience. What You'll Do Build fences, decks, gates, and other exterior projects Dig and set posts, work with concrete, frame, and install lumber Use saws, drills, nail guns, and other construction tools Perform demolition and load/unload materials Assist with wood cleaning, restoration, and staining Maintain clean and organized jobsites Learn and follow our building methods and quality standards Identify problems and learn to think through solutions What We're Looking For Someone who: Shows up on time and ready to work Is dependable and communicates when problems arise Takes direction, follows instructions, and pays attention to details Works well with others and treats customers, coworkers, tools, and property with respect Asks questions when needed and is willing to learn Takes pride in doing the job correctly, not simply getting it done Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to reliably report to work in the Eugene/Springfield area Construction experience preferred, but not required Able to regularly lift and carry 60-100 lbs Able to dig post holes and perform physically demanding work, including bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and carrying materials Willing and able to work outdoors year-round in a variety of Oregon weather conditions, including rain, heat, cold, and muddy conditions Able to safely use hand and power tools or willing to learn Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana Must pass a pre-employment background check Schedule We currently work four 10-hour days per week. When seasonal daylight changes, we transition to five 8-hour days. Applicants must be able to work either schedule. Cell Phone Expectations Employees are expected to stay focused and productive while on the clock. Personal cell phone use is limited to breaks and lunch, except for emergencies or work-related needs.
