Founded by Doug Bierer, DBC specializes in residential remodeling, basement waterproofing, and crawl space repair. We're a smaller, close-knit team, which means you won't be a number on a large crew — you'll be a trusted expert who shows up to the same faces every day and takes real ownership of your work. Our values aren't a poster on the wall. We treat everyone well — customers, coworkers, and subcontractors alike. We keep everything clean, from the job site to how we carry ourselves. And we excel every time, because we believe what's behind the wall matters just as much as what's in front of it. If that sounds like how you already think about your work, you'll fit right in here. About the role This role is built for someone who takes charge, takes pride, and gets things done. You'll be working directly in clients' homes on basement waterproofing and crawl space repair projects — which means your attention to detail, respect for the client's property, and ability to execute under a deadline aren't just nice to have, they're the job. We'll train you on waterproofing. What we can't train is the drive, the standard you hold yourself to, and the way you treat people and their homes. You bring the construction background and the right mindset — we'll build the rest. At DBC, results are rewarded. Technicians who lead themselves well, finish jobs on time, and represent the company with integrity earn strong wages and profitable bonuses paid out bi-weekly. This is a role where your attitude and output directly affect your paycheck. What you'll do Install basement waterproofing and crawl space repair systems in residential homes Work efficiently and accurately to meet project timelines without cutting corners Treat every client's home with the same respect you'd want shown to your own Maintain a clean, organized job site throughout the project and before leaving Communicate professionally with clients, the Foreman, and teammates on site Follow technical instructions and best practices with precision and care Attend required training and stay sharp on products, techniques, and safety protocols Use the DBC phone app for time tracking, scheduling, and team communication What we're looking for Construction background required — waterproofing experience a plus but not required A natural leader who takes ownership, drives results, and doesn't wait to be managed Deadline-driven with the discipline to execute at a high level on every job Exceptional attention to detail — you notice what others miss and you fix it Deep respect for clients, their homes, and the trust they've placed in DBC Takes pride in their work and holds themselves to a high personal standard Honest, accountable, and composed under pressure Works well within a small team while taking initiative on their own Able to lift 75 lbs unassisted and comfortable working in tight spaces and at heights What you'll need to bring A smartphone for required company apps Basic hand tools, tool belt, safety glasses, and ear protection Reliable transportation to and from our warehouse location daily — DBC provides transportation to and from job sites Compensation and benefits Competitive wages commensurate with experience and performance Profitable bonus opportunities per completed job — paid out bi-weekly
Results-driven:
the way you work directly impacts what you earn Monday through Friday schedule with overtime available on a project-by-project basis Health, dental, and vision coverage 401k with up to 4% employer match after six months PTO, 10 paid holidays, and your birthday off after a 60-day probationary period This position requires passing a background check and drug screening.
