The Clock Tower Schools is seeking a hardworking, self-motivated individual who is capable of instructing at risk youth with skills and abilities to enter the workforce upon completion of programming. The instructor position will teach trades courses providing high quality learning to assist students in meeting educational goals and career aspirations and instruct in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the Clock Tower Schools. Working in a Trauma Informed organization, the instructor will evaluate the participant culture to provide a safe and secure environment for the students and staff of The Clock Tower Schools.Scheduled Hours & Days:
The Instructor's schedule will be a full time, 5 day per week position, with possible night or weekend hours.Start Date:

- 3+ years of verifiable trade experience in construction, electric, or another high priority occupation (multi-trade experience strongly preferred).
- Preference for candidates with prior instruction, coaching, mentoring, or training experience (formal or informal).
- Must possess a valid driver's license, be able to pass comprehensive background checks, and complete a drug screening.
- Possessing a CDL is a plus. Essential Skills Required/Including but not limited to:
- Demonstrated practical competence in at least one core trade area, with the ability to safely perform and teach foundational skills.
- Working knowledge across multiple trades (e.g., carpentry, basic electrical, basic plumbing, drywall/finishing, painting, flooring, landscaping, general maintenance).
- Strong safety orientation (PPE, tool safety, jobsite housekeeping; basic lockout/tagout awareness).
- Ability to plan and supervise student projects, break work into teachable steps, and maintain appropriate tool/material controls.
- Clear communication and basic documentation skills; able to collaborate with program/school leadership. Additional skills that may be helpful:
- OSHA certification
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Excellent written/oral communication and facilitation skills
- Understanding of the impacts of Trauma on individuals
Starting Salary/Rate:
Full-Time position. Compensation commensurate with experience. The position includes health insurance, dental insurance, prescription plan, 401k plan and paid vacation after the employee has completed a successful 90 day probationary period.- Qualified candidates should submit a cover letter and a resume, and any applicable letters of recommendation, credentials, or certifications to The Clock Tower Schools Personnel Department.
