Job Description

Job Summary:
The Service Technician is responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and installation work on modular homes in the field. This role requires a strong understanding of construction trades, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality customer service during on-site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform punch-out and service work on modular homes and/or buildings post-delivery and set. Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of issues including plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, siding, roofing, windows, and doors. Read and interpret blueprints, floorplans, and job orders. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Document service work performed and complete required paperwork for each job. Ability to communicate and work closely with teams at the factory to ensure work is completed on time and correctly. Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good condition. Comply with all OSHA and company safety protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of experience in residential construction, carpentry, electrical, or plumbing preferred. Modular or manufactured home experience a plus. Ability to work independently and troubleshoot with minimal supervision. Strong customer service and communication skills. Valid driver's license with clean driving record and DOT medical card required. Ability to travel to various job sites throughout the Northeast, New England and Mid-Atlantic States with overnight travel required regularly. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, including commercial construction sites, and customer homes. May be exposed to varying weather conditions and physically demanding tasks.
