Overview We are seeking experienced Roofing and Sheet Metal Technicians to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems and sheet metal components across diverse projects. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems including single-ply membrane roofing, metal roofing, and other specialized materials. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to execute projects accurately. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to cut, shape, and install sheet metal components. Perform siding installation, stucco application, drywall finishing, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry work, and framing as needed on construction sites. Ensure all work complies with construction safety regulations such as harness use, ladder safety protocols, and OSHA standards. Conduct heavy lifting safely while managing materials like metal studs, concrete forms, and roofing materials. Maintain a clean job site by organizing tools and debris removal while adhering to safety protocol adherence at all times. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing installation and repair. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and schematics related to roofing systems and sheet metal fabrication. Knowledge of various roofing types including single-ply membrane systems and metal roofing applications. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication processes. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading for project planning. Outdoor work experience in diverse weather conditions with a strong emphasis on safety procedures. Additional skills such as remodeling, handyman tasks, plumbing or masonry are advantageous but not required.
