In this role, you will play a vital part in safely tearing down structures and preparing sites for new construction projects. Your expertise in handling various tools, heavy equipment, and understanding construction plans will contribute to efficient project completion. Duties Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders to dismantle structures efficiently Use hand tools and power tools for demolition tasks, including cutting, breaking, and removing building materials Follow detailed construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate demolition and material removal Perform site inspections to assess structural stability and identify potential hazards before commencing work Assist with building material installation, including drywall, flooring, tile laying, and cabinetry during remodeling phases Adhere strictly to safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment for all team members Coordinate with construction management to schedule demolition activities and ensure project timelines are met Requirements Proven construction experience with a focus on demolition or remodeling projects Proficiency in operating heavy machinery and hand/power tools safely and effectively Knowledge of building construction, hardscaping, masonry, roofing, drywall, stucco, caulking, and trim carpentry Ability to interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and blueprints accurately Experience with plumbing, electrical work, window installation, door hanging, cabinet installation, and hardscape construction is a plus Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with a strong commitment to safety protocol adherence Familiarity with construction inspection procedures and estimating processes using tools like Bluebeam or similar software is advantageous Join our team if you're passionate about building and transforming spaces!
