Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Roofer to install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial roofing systems. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working at heights and have experience with various roofing materials and related carpentry work. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems. Perform tear-offs, measurements, material cutting, and installation. Work with shingles, metal, tile, insulation, flashing, and waterproofing. Perform basic carpentry, framing, and roof decking repairs. Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and roofing equipment. Follow OSHA, fall-protection, and company safety procedures. Identify roof damage and leaks and report issues to supervisors. Maintain a clean and safe job site. Qualifications Previous professional roofing or construction experience. Experience with multiple roofing systems and materials. Knowledge of flashing, waterproofing, decking, and carpentry. Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely use hand and power tools. Good physical stamina and strong work ethic. Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a crew. Commercial roofing experience preferred. OSHA or safety training is a plus.
