SeekOne Roofing is growing, and we're looking for a hands-on, dependable, and detail-oriented Exterior Installation Technician to join our team. This position is much more than simply installing gutters. You'll become a key member of our production team responsible for completing and managing exterior work on residential properties that includes gutters, siding, fascia, soffit, flashing, repairs, and other exterior components. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, knows how to work with their hands, can solve problems in the field, and wants the opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company. WHAT YOU'LL DO
As our Exterior Installation Technician, you'll be responsible for performing and helping manage exterior installation and repair work while maintaining SeekOne's standards for quality, professionalism, and customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Installing and repairing residential gutter systems Measuring, fabricating, and installing gutters and downspouts Installing and repairing siding, fascia, soffit, flashing, and other exterior components Completing exterior repairs identified during or after roofing projects Inspecting completed work and identifying items that need attention Working from scopes of work, measurements, photos, and project instructions Coordinating with the Production Team to ensure work is completed correctly and on schedule Communicating issues, material needs, and job progress to the appropriate team members Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site Protecting the homeowner's property throughout the installation process Taking quality photos and documenting completed work Representing SeekOne professionally while working at customers' homes Helping identify opportunities to improve our exterior installation and repair processes As you develop in the role, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibility for managing exterior projects, coordinating subcontractors or additional labor, and helping SeekOne expand its exterior services.
THE PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We aren't necessarily looking for someone with a perfect resume. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, works hard, learns quickly, and cares about doing things right.
The ideal candidate:
Has 2+ years of experience in gutters, siding, roofing, construction, remodeling, or a related trade Is comfortable working on ladders and roofs and performing physical labor Can safely lift materials and equipment Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in craftsmanship Can read measurements and follow scopes of work Is comfortable working independently without constant supervision Can identify problems and figure out practical solutions Communicates clearly with homeowners and team members Shows up on time and follows through on commitments Keeps their work area and vehicle clean and organized Has a valid driver's license and clean driving record Is comfortable using a smartphone, taking photos, and working with basic technology Is willing to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities Can safely and legally operate a company provided-vehicle (Successful MVR Report required) Gutter installation experience is needed but we're also interested in experienced construction professionals who have the mechanical ability and work ethic to learn to master the trade.
