In this role, you will be responsible for installing waterproofing systems that protect structures from water intrusion, ensuring durability and longevity of buildings. Your expertise will help safeguard projects against moisture damage, contributing to the overall quality and success of our construction endeavors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a variety of tools and techniques, and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, or applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of waterproofing materials Install waterproof membranes, coatings, sealants, and flashing according to project specifications and schematics Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute waterproofing plans Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installation processes Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and other trades such as plumbing, electrical, and masonry teams to coordinate work efforts Conduct inspections of completed waterproofing work to verify quality standards are met and identify any issues needing correction Assist in the fabrication and customization of waterproofing components as needed for specific project requirements Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on waterproofing installation or related trades such as roofing, masonry, or plastering Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety protocols on construction sites Basic understanding of construction management principles including estimating and inspection processes Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills Valid certifications in construction safety or specialized waterproofing techniques are a plus Join us as a Waterproofing Installer and be part of a dedicated team committed to building resilient structures that stand the test of time.
