Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed construction plans to execute remodeling projects accurately. Perform demolition, framing, drywall installation, and finishing work with precision and efficiency. Install doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, tile, and trim carpentry components to meet project specifications. Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks such as concrete forming, masonry, stucco application, roofing, and caulking. Manage construction site activities including heavy equipment operation, scaffolding setup, and site cleanup. Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards through regular inspections. Collaborate with project managers to estimate costs using construction estimating techniques and manage project timelines effectively. Use Bluebeam or similar software for digital plan review and project documentation. Assist in restoration projects by applying skills in concrete finishing, welding, glass installation, or hardscape work as needed. Experience Proven experience in residential or commercial remodeling projects with a strong background in carpentry, framing, drywall finishing, or related trades. Familiarity with construction management principles and the ability to oversee multiple phases of a project from start to finish. Hands-on experience with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading is highly desirable. Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics, masonry techniques, and roofing installation is preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently across various construction tasks. Prior construction site experience involving heavy equipment operation or restoration projects is advantageous.
