Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain a variety of roofing systems including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and tile laying. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute roofing projects. Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques safely and efficiently to complete roofing tasks. Ensure all work complies with construction safety regulations and safety protocol adherence, including the proper use of safety harnesses and ladder use. Conduct roofing repair assessments and perform necessary maintenance to extend roof lifespan. Assist with siding installation, stucco application, metal stud framing, concrete forming, trim carpentry, and remodeling tasks as needed on job sites. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for yourself and team members during outdoor work experience. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing or related trades such as siding installation or remodeling. Skilled in roofing repair techniques with knowledge of metal roofing and single-ply membrane roofing systems. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans. Competent in using hand tools, power tools, and performing heavy lifting safely. Knowledge of construction estimating practices and safety protocols is preferred. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
