This position is ideal for someone who has a solid construction foundation and wants to expand their skills. You do not need experience with every system we install. We provide paid hands-on training in our products, installation methods, safety procedures, and quality standards. The right candidate will know how to use tools safely, measure and cut accurately, solve construction-related problems, and complete detail-oriented work. We are looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, coachable, and willing to learn and follow our proven installation processes. Pay and Benefits $20-$25 per hour, based on experience Full-time, year-round W-2 employment Paid, hands-on training Monday-Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays Medical, dental, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off Advancement opportunities, including Lead Installer positions Installation and Cross-Training Opportunities Depending on your experience, training, and company needs, you may assist with or complete projects involving: Interior door replacement Replacement windows and exterior doors Gutters and gutter protection Concrete garage, patio, pool deck, and outdoor surface coatings Acrylic tubs, showers, bath wall systems, fixtures, and accessories You may begin in one primary area and cross-train in additional remodeling systems as your skills develop. Responsibilities Assist with and complete residential remodeling installations Protect customers' homes and prepare work areas Perform product removal, surface preparation, minor framing, carpentry, trim, sealing, and finish work Measure, cut, fit, assemble, and install materials accurately Follow company, manufacturer, and jobsite safety standards Document project progress and required photographs in CompanyCam Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and assigned vehicles Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members Keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized Required Qualifications At least 2 years of hands-on residential construction, carpentry, remodeling, or similar skilled-trade experience Experience safely operating hand and power tools Ability to read a tape measure and accurately measure, cut, assemble, and fit construction materials Basic knowledge of demolition, framing, trim, finish carpentry, sealing, or residential repairs Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Dependable attendance and punctuality Willingness to accept coaching and follow company installation methods Professional communication when working in customers' homes Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel to residential jobsites throughout Hampton Roads Helpful but Not Required Experience with windows, exterior doors, interior doors, gutters, bath remodeling, concrete coatings, or finish carpentry Basic plumbing knowledge Experience working directly with homeowners Experience documenting projects with CompanyCam or another mobile application Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds with appropriate assistance Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and work in confined spaces Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment Ability to load, unload, and move construction materials Ability to perform physically demanding work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions About Exterior Source | Bath Source Exterior Source | Bath Source is a locally owned residential remodeling company serving homeowners throughout Hampton Roads.
