The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various construction disciplines, including roofing, carpentry, masonry, and remodeling. This role involves working on diverse projects that require technical expertise, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to interpret complex plans and schematics. The Technician will play a key role in ensuring project quality, safety, and efficiency across multiple job sites. Duties Perform roofing repairs, including single-ply membrane roofing and metal roofing installations. Assist with siding installation, stucco application, drywall finishing, and trim carpentry. Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately. Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, framing carpentry, and metal stud framing as required. Use construction safety harnesses, ladders, and other equipment following strict safety regulations. Adhere to all construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment. Perform heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Follow detailed schematics and technical instructions to ensure precise execution of tasks. Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience Proven experience in construction work with a focus on roofing (including metal roofing), siding installation, drywall finishing, or remodeling projects. Must have experience repairing TPO, EPDM, Duro-Last, PVC Membrane roofs. Must have experience installing coil stock aluminum & operating a metal brake. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and fabrication equipment. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions on commercial or residential sites. Knowledge of concrete forming, masonry techniques, framing carpentry (including metal stud framing), plumbing basics, tile laying, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, welding, and restoration work is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction estimating processes is a plus. Previous experience interpreting technical drawings and schematics for diverse construction projects is preferred.
