Job Description
Candidate Source is hiring Lightning Protection Installers for a direct hire opportunity with a specialty contractor in Richmond, VA. In this hands-on role, you'll install lightning protection and grounding systems on residential, commercial, and historical structures. Full training is provided for the right candidate. Schedule & Pay $20.00 per hour Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Direct hire opportunity What You'll Do Install lightning protection and grounding systems on residential, commercial, and historical structures. Install air terminals (lightning rods), copper and aluminum conductors, grounding systems, and surge protectors. Read blueprints and assist with determining system placement. Work on rooftops, ladders, and other elevated work areas. Use hand tools and power tools to complete installations. Follow LPI, UL, and company safety standards. Work as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently. What We're Looking For 100% comfortable working at heights, including ladders, rooftops, and elevated work areas. Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Experience using hand tools and power tools. Ability to pass a background check and obtain site badging when required. Construction, roofing, or basic electrical experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to read blueprints is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Reliable, team-oriented, and interested in building a long-term career. The Work Environment This position involves working outdoors on residential, commercial, and historical buildings. Work is performed at heights and requires climbing ladders, working on rooftops, and following strict safety procedures. Full training is provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. #IND16
