About Modern Renovations Modern Renovations is a local, veteran-owned renovation company based in Martinsburg, WV, proudly serving the Eastern Panhandle and surrounding areas since 2016. We specialize in roofing, windows, siding, decks, and exterior renovations , including residential, commercial, and historic properties. Due to continued growth, we are expanding our contractor network and are seeking experienced roofing, window, and siding contractors for consistent project opportunities . Position Overview Modern Renovations is seeking qualified, insured independent contractors to perform roofing, window, and/or siding installations . We are looking for professional crews who take pride in quality workmanship, clear communication, and job-site safety. This position is for independent contractors (1099) and is not an employee (W-2) role . Responsibilities (Based on Trade)Roofing Install and replace roofing systems including: Architectural shingles Standing seam metal roofing Roof repairs and re-flashes Follow manufacturer specifications and local building codes Maintain clean and safe job sites Complete projects on schedule Windows Remove and install residential and commercial windows Perform proper flashing, sealing, and weatherproofing Install replacement, new-construction, and custom windows Maintain high finish and quality standards Siding Install and replace siding systems including: Vinyl siding Fiber cement (Hardie) Engineered wood (LP SmartSide) Trim, soffit, and fascia Install proper weather barriers and flashing Ensure professional, clean finished appearance Contractor Requirements Proven experience in roofing, windows, siding , or a combination General Liability Insurance required Workers' Compensation Insurance required Own tools, equipment, and reliable transportation Ability to operate independently as a 1099 contractor Strong workmanship, reliability, and professionalism Ability to meet schedules and communicate with project management What We Offer Consistent project opportunities Competitive per-job or per-square pricing Clear scopes of work and scheduling Prompt payment terms Organized material coordination when applicable Long-term working relationships for qualified contractors Residential, commercial, and historic project variety How to Apply Apply through Indeed or provide: Brief summary of experience Trades you perform (roofing, windows, siding, or multiple) Proof of General Liability and Workers' Compensation insurance Crew size (if applicable) Qualified contractors will be contacted promptly.
