Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal (KRSM) offers Co-op/Intern positions in an effort to provide college students from a variety of educational disciplines the opportunity to apply traditional classroom learning to actual work experience. The objectives of the program are as follows: To familiarize students with the construction industry and its processes. To introduce students to the complex interrelationships which exist in construction. To expose students to the management functions within Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal. To aid students in acquiring specific job skills that will enhance their value to the industry. The company will position the student in various entry-level roles or any combination thereof, depending on the company's and/or the project's needs. Each month during the assignment, the student will be evaluated by their mentor. At the end of the Co-op/Internship, the student will complete an evaluation of their experience with Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal. This program is an important part of assisting the company in meeting the needs of today while preparing the workforce of the future.
