Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced

• Sheet Metal Fabricator
• with strong ductwork experience to join our fabrication shop. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who is proficient in operating a
• plasma table
• and can efficiently produce high-quality HVAC ductwork and sheet metal components. This role plays a critical part in our production process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to project specifications and safety standards. Key Responsibilities
• Fabricate HVAC ductwork (rectangular, round, and custom fittings) from sheet metal.
• Operate and maintain
• plasma table
• equipment to cut sheet metal parts accurately and efficiently.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine materials and dimensions.
• Perform layout, shearing, punching, bending, seaming, and assembly of sheet metal components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery (press brakes, shears, rolls, lockformers, etc.) safely and effectively.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with the shop team to meet daily and weekly production targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials and other shop tasks as needed. Required Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum
• 2-5 years
• of hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication, preferably in HVAC ductwork.
• Proven experience operating a plasma table
• (required)
• must be able to load materials, set up programs, troubleshoot cuts, and perform basic maintenance.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Working knowledge of sheet metal gauges, types, and fabrication techniques.
• Familiarity with common ductwork standards (SMACNA) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade school certification preferred. Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Stand, bend, kneel, and move around the shop for extended periods.
• Work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

Pay:

$18.00

• $25.

00 per hour
