Full Job Description Job Title:
HVAC Fabrication Technician (Duct Work & Welding) We are a fast-paced, small, family-owned HVAC sheet metal fabrication shop looking for a reliable individual to assist with HVAC duct work fabrication and welding. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in both sheet metal fabrication and welding. You will work closely with experienced team members to contribute to daily production and support our installation team.
Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble HVAC ductwork Insulate and prep duct systems for installation Weld and assemble metal stands for HVAC units Measure, cut, and prep materials for both ductwork and welding projects Assist in the operation of sheet metal fabrication machinery Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Requirements:
Ability to read a tape measure accurately Basic welding experience (MIG preferred) or willingness to learn Comfortable working with hand and power tools Must be able to work outdoors (covered shop environment) Must be able to lift 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable and punctual
Additional Details:
Must be 18 years or older Work hours vary from part-time to full-time based on business needs, with peak demand in the warmer months. Typical working hours fall between 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday-Friday Compensation varies based on experience Candidates must be able to provide documentation establishing eligibility to work in the United States, including verification through E-Verify. We are willing to train the right person—attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn matter most.
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
