Our custom precision sheet metal fabrication shop is seeking a dedicated team member to join our growing operation. Desert Precision Mfg., Inc manufactures precision metal components for customers who depend on accuracy and quality, and we take pride in the work that leaves our shop. While industry background is valuable, we place equal weight on work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to doing a job well. If you can read a blueprint and calipers, we'd especially like to hear from you. Production work schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Pay is dependent upon experience and skill level.

Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications Take accurate measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools Fabricate, cut, form, and finish sheet metal parts to specification Operate shop equipment safely and maintain tight tolerances Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Collaborate with team members and support shop operations as needed ?Must be willing to perform other duties around the shop, as assigned
Qualifications :
Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings Proficiency reading calipers and other measuring instruments Strong work ethic and pride in quality workmanship Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work well within a team CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) preferred Prior sheet metal or machine shop experience is an asset; we are willing to train the right candidate
