Job Description

Commercial Sheet Metal Installer Integrated Construction Services (ICS) is hiring an experienced Sheet Metal Installer for commercial roofing and building-envelope projects. This position involves installing architectural sheet metal, flashing, roofing accessories, wall panels, and related exterior systems. We are looking for someone who can produce clean, watertight installations, work safely at heights, and complete assigned work according to project plans and manufacturer requirements. Responsibilities Install coping caps, cleats, counterflashing, reglet flashing, edge metal, fascia, gutters, downspouts, scuppers, collector boxes, and roof penetrations Install architectural metal wall panels, soffit panels, and related trim Install window, door, balcony, parapet, and transition flashing Measure, cut, bend, fabricate, and assemble sheet-metal components Read plans, specifications, shop drawings, and manufacturer details Lay out work and verify field dimensions before fabrication Use brakes, shears, snips, drills, riveters, soldering equipment, and other sheet-metal tools Coordinate sheet-metal work with roofing, waterproofing, air-barrier, and exterior-wall systems Install sealants, fasteners, clips, cleats, and accessories according to approved details Identify field conflicts and report them to the foreman or superintendent before proceeding Protect completed work and surrounding surfaces from damage Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and a clean work area Follow fall-protection requirements and all company and project safety procedures Complete daily tasks within established production expectations Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and inventorying materials Qualifications Commercial architectural sheet-metal installation experience preferred Experience with roofing sheet metal, wall panels, flashing, or metal cladding Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction calculations Ability to understand construction drawings and installation details Working knowledge of common sheet-metal fabrication and installation tools Ability to produce straight, properly aligned, and watertight finished work Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, and roof surfaces Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Reliable transportation to project locations Valid driver's license preferred OSHA 10, lift certification, and fall-protection training preferred Bilingual English and Spanish is helpful but not required Work conditions This is a field position performed primarily on active commercial construction sites. Work may involve heat, cold, wind, dust, noise, uneven surfaces, and elevated work areas. Projects may require early start times, travel to different job locations, and occasional overtime.
