Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, fabricating, and securing sheet metal components across various projects, including commercial and residential sites. Your expertise will help ensure that ductwork, roofing systems, and metal fixtures are installed accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of each project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with skilled professionals in a fast-paced environment where your craftsmanship makes a real impact. Duties Measure, cut, shape, and install sheet metal materials using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation of metal components Fabricate custom metal parts on-site or in the workshop to match project requirements Securely fasten sheet metal using appropriate techniques such as welding, caulking, or mechanical fasteners Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation schedules and troubleshoot on-site challenges Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining high-quality standards Conduct inspections of installed systems to ensure compliance with safety codes and project specifications Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on sheet metal installation Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings preferred Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (drills, saws), and fabrication equipment Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material calculations is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights when necessary Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and site procedures Additional skills such as plumbing, remodeling experience, tile laying, or handyman skills are a plus Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills to exciting projects!
