Position Details:
2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:30pm - 12:00am 15 shift differential
Your Expertise:
1-4 years of sheet metal, shop assembly experience Ability to cross train to support all areas of Sheet Metal Assembly Ability to lift heavy materials and tools Must be able to read and interpret blueprints Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to solve complex issues Is your expertise different from the above? Your Challenge:
Utilize and interpret blueprints to determine how to where to fabricate, assemble and install sheet meatal products Measure, mark dimensions and lay out materials to be installed using tools such as scribes, micrometers, Vernier, calipers, etc. Use hand and power tools to trim, buff, smooth, file and grind metal surfaces and joints of parts that have been assembled to ensure safety and seamless appearance. Fasten details on aircraft and industrial engine components using rivets, fasteners, bolts, etc.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. This job position may include access to controlled information or technology subject to U.S. export control laws. If an applicant does not meet the definition of a "U.S. Person" (which includes U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, and those granted U.S. asylum or refugee status), the Company may be required to obtain an export control license. If the position for which you applied involves access to controlled information or technology subject to U.S. export control laws, then any offer is also contingent on verification of appropriate documentation for the Company to assess whether an export license will be required to employ you in that role, and if it is determined that an export license is required, the offer is also contingent on the Companys determination, in its sole discretion, whether a license application and ongoing administration is prudent under the projects contract parameters and whether an export license can be successfully obtained before you can start in that role.
