Sheet Metal Mechanic I is responsible for assembling sheet metal, setting roof curbs, installing Mechanical equipment, as well as other HVAC related items. Travel as needed is required.
Requirements:
Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive) Determine the right tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete the job. Must know industry relevant building codes and regulations for the installation and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems. Measure, cut and bend mechanical material. Must be on jobsite at required time. Attend all safety meetings. Follow instruction given by on-site leadership. Cleaning the job site after the work is completed. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of HVAC systems and their inner workings. Familiarity with all tools and equipment necessary for HVAC installation and maintenance. Physical fitness and manual dexterity. Ability to follow instructions. Good communication and customer service skills. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to complete Form I-9 upon hire. Employment subject to E-Verify confirmation. Must be able to travel to multiple construction sites within the U.S. and present acceptable identification for security or travel purposes. Reliable transportation and ability to meet job-site access requirements. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. OSHA 10 Certification required. At least 4 plus years of commercial sheet metal duct experience. Physical Requirements Required to stand, walk, and sit. Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls. Reach with hand (s) and arm (s). Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds. FLAOPS
