M-F, 6:00am-2:45pm
Pay:
$18•23/hr (based on experience) Proman Skilled Trades is hiring experienced, dependable Welders with strong sheet‑metal and multi‑metal welding skills. If you can work independently, weld cleanly, and fabricate from drawings, this role is built for you. Position Summary You will perform high‑quality MIG and TIG welds on stainless steel (16/18/20 gauge), galvanized steel, black iron, and aluminum. This position requires solid sheet‑metal experience , fabrication ability, and the skill to fit, assemble, and finish components to exact specifications. Key Responsibilities
MIG & TIG
welding on stainless, galvanized, black iron, and aluminum Sheet‑metal welding (16, 18, 20 gauge) Fabricate and assemble parts using blueprints and drawings Operate grinders, saws, and fabrication tools Fit, tack, and weld components to meet quality standards Visually inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance Follow all PPE and safety procedures Work with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines Required Skills & Experience Proficient in MIG and TIG welding Sheet‑metal experience is
REQUIRED
Able to weld stainless steel (16/18/20 gauge) Able to weld galvanized, black iron, aluminum, and stainless Able to read weld symbols and follow fabrication drawings Experience with layout, fitting, and fabrication Must pass an in person welding test Must pass background check, physical, and drug screen Tools Required Bring your own basic tools, including: Welding hand tools (grinders, clamps, chipping hammer, etc.) Sheet‑metal tools (snips, seamers, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Sheet‑metal TIG welding experience Aluminum MIG/TIG experience How to Apply Apply directly at promanskilledtrades.com or apply to this posting.
