Goldman Company, your essential responsibilities are to: Assemble and join sheetmetal parts through welding, riveting, soldering, and other appropriate techniques, ensuring structural integrity and that quality standards are met. Accurately measure and mark dimensions on sheetmetal materials to ensure precise cuts and fit. Utilize technical drawings and blueprints to install fabricated sheetmetal components and structures according to project specifications, ensuring proper fit and alignment. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including measurements, materials used, and time spent on various tasks. Teach Sheetmetal Helpers about best installation practices, proper use of tools, reading/interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications and teach codes pertaining to tasks, while performing daily tasks. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and at least five (5) to six (6) years of experience with commercial sheetmetal duct installation. Experienced with installing square and spiral ductwork. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, technical manuals and manufacturers' manuals and instructions. Have attention to detail, precision, and a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques. Ability to read, write, and understand English.
