We are seeking to hire a fully competent Lead installer (Leadman) to join our Production Team. As a member of the Production Team, you will be responsible for leading small crews, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety.
Read and follow shop drawings and manufacturer specifications.
Install perimeter metals, gutters, downspouts, coping, drip edge, gravel stop, pipe flashings, and counterflashing with minimal supervision.
Perform accurate field measurements to support fabrication.
Maintain tool readiness and proper equipment use.
Identify material needs early to prevent delays.
Learning the basic technical details of various roof systemsMaintaining a clean and safe work siteParticipating in continuous improvement initiativeLead 2-4 person crews to achieve production goals.
Plan daily work sequences to maximize efficiency.
Assign tasks based on skill level and project priorities.
Perform advanced sheet metal installation and complex details.
Verify measurements, material quantities, and cut lists.
Conduct quality checks throughout the day.
Train and mentor Installers.
Communicate progress and needs to the Foreman.
Strong understanding of fastening patterns and attachment methods.
Ability to interpret drawings and roof plans.
Be able to show Sheet Metal knowledge/skills during a practical assessment before hire
Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
Pass the 90-day introductory period.
Willingness to learn from other technicians & direct supervisors.
Consistent & Reliable Timeliness & Attendance.
Rotating (1) weekend per month On-Call Schedule.
Periodic, Regional, and overnight stays for job completion.
Ability to operate mobile technology systems & programs.
Willingness to learn from other technicians & direct supervisors.
Must be trustworthy and willing to work for periods unsupervised.
Excellent communicator, both oral and written- Customer Service skill set.
Current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30, Fall Protection, Aerial Lift certification preferred.

The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at roofing job sites. The weather work environment and job sites can be extremely hot or extremely cold. This position is performed inside and outside. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Hourly Pay:
$26.00 to $32.00 per hourNote:
This positions requires up to 100% travel out of state. Travel schedule is a 28-30 day rotation with a 5 day break between each rotation. Candidates who have little to no prior experience with Commercial Roofing Systems (Sheet Metal) are encouraged to apply for our Entry Level Commercial Roofing Position, or apply for the Roofer position if no prior experience leading crews. Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Complete the initial safety and technical training onboardingDemolition and removal of existing roofing materialLoading and unloading roofing material and equipmentComplete assigned sheet metal tasks at or above expected production rates.Read and follow shop drawings and manufacturer specifications.

Experience Requirements:
3+ Years of experience in Commercial Roofing (Sheet Metal Specifically)Proficient in cutting, bending, forming, and installing sheet metal components.Strong understanding of fastening patterns and attachment methods.
Ability to interpret drawings and roof plans.
Be able to show Sheet Metal knowledge/skills during a practical assessment before hire
Minimum Employment Requirements:
Clear a National, State, and Local Background Check3-Year Motor Vehicle Record meeting standards to drive company vehicles. (If hired as a driver)Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen & complete Post Hire fit for duty screening.Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.

BASIC COMPUTER LITERACY REQUIRED
