A Sheet Metal Fabricator or Mechanic fabricates and installs parts or products made with thin sheet metal, such as heating and air-conditioning ducts used in construction or parts used in aircraft manufacturing.

JOB SUMMARY
The responsibility of the Set-up Fabricator is to up machines for part runs and creates the components that go into small and large scale HVAC products. It is vital that the candidate have previous experience with Amada machines: Amada

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Press Breaks, Amada Pega & Coma Turrets Knowledge of applicable safety precautions, first aid, and proper use of tools and equipment. Knowledge of basic computer skills to operate testing equipment, and ability to effectively communicate. Ability to organize the work area and maintain all housekeeping standards. Ability to read and comprehend work instructions. Ability to properly complete fabrication related documentation including First Piece Inspection Form. Understands Safety, Quality, SINEW, Cost, People performance objective.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Medium to heavy physical effort required. The ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Regularly required to stand, reach, bend, pull and move about the facility.

The budgeted range for this role is $18.50 USD - $20per hour. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the desired level of experience for the position.
