Job Description
Overview Unite Contracting is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Ductwork Installer - Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will install, repair, and maintain sheet metal components and systems, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in all tasks. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on precision craftsmanship and technical expertise. A strong understanding of commercial ductwork installation and sheet metal assemblies is required. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and repair commercial ductwork sheet metal components according to specifications and blueprints. Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and fit sheet metal parts Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately Maintain a clean and organized work area to adhere to safety standards Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations during operations Experience Prior experience working as a Commercial Ductwork Sheet Metal Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of blueprint reading, technical drawings, and schematic diagrams Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills Basic understanding of safety procedures related to sheet metal fabrication and electrical systems
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per weekBenefits:
