Job Description

The Peterson School has been teaching the trades since 1946 with locations in Woburn, Westwood, Worcester and Haverhill Massachusetts. We provide high quality education at an affordable price with experienced instructors, convenient class scheduling, and flexible payment options to provide the best educational experience for our students. We are in search of a part time Sheet Metal Instructor. The ideal candidate will have a Massachusetts Master Sheet Metal License and at least 5 years experience in the sheet metal fabrication/ installation trade. A Massachusetts Sheet metal instructors license is a big plus. No teaching experience. we will train the right person.
Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Licensed Technician
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal systems and components
  • Experience working with apprentices or trainees
  • Ability to communicate sometimes very technical information to students with little or no experience.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training preferred
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Deliver engaging sheet metal curriculum to students.
  • Utilize teaching skills to effectively educate students on sheet metal concepts.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations in the classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development.
  • Tailor instruction to meet the needs of adult learners in the sheet metal field.
