Job Description

Currently hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics for long-term projects in the Annapolis, Annapolis Junction and Columbia, MD areas. Pay is up to $35 an hour with potential for overtime. As a sheet metal mechanic you are responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining high-quality metal components and structures. Sheet Metal Mechanic Responsibilities:
Lay out, fabricate, and install HVAC duct systems and sheet metal components Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and job specifications Cut, shape, join, and assemble sheet metal using hand and power tools, ensuring precise fabrication and alignment Install ductwork, diffusers, registers, dampers, and flexible components Seal and ensure systems are properly aligned, sealed, and meet quality standards Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
Sheet Metal Mechanic Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial sheet metal experience Proficient in HVAC duct fabrication and installation Able to read blueprints and follow detailed plans Your own hand tools and PPE Valid Driver's License and your own reliable transportation
