The successful candidate will work independently to fabricate sheet metal components according to design specifications, measurements, and approvals provided by the Sheet Metal superintendents and project managers. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Layout, measure, cut, and bend sheet metal using hydraulic shear and Cidan metal folding machines. Notch and punch metals utilizing hydraulic Iron Worker machines. Maintain a weekly schedule to inform the production team of progress and workload status. Keep accurate records and files related to fabrication activities and project documentation. Ensure all fabricated components meet quality standards and project specifications. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and optimize processes. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Requirements Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related field. Proficiency in operating hydraulic shear, folding machines, notchers, punchers, and Iron Worker equipment. Strong understanding of measurements, layout techniques, and fabrication processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors. Commitment to safety standards and workplace safety practices.
