Pay:
$23-$35 per hour, based on experience
Schedule:
8-hour workdays, typically starting at 5am or 6am 401(k): Company match and profit sharing

Potomac Mechanical Contractors is willing to train the right candidate Why You'll Love It Here Build a career in the skilled trades with a company that invests in training and professional development Learn practical sheet metal and HVAC skills while gaining hands-on experience Develop your trade knowledge through continuing education, licensing, and certification opportunities Grow beyond an entry-level position with opportunities to develop your skills and advance long term Join a team that values dependable, motivated people who take pride in learning their craft Your New Role Work as a Sheet Metal Mechanic supporting Potomac Mechanical Contractors' sheet metal and mechanical contracting operations in Gaithersburg, Maryland Assist with the installation, assembly, and maintenance of sheet metal and HVAC systems Work with sheet metal components, ductwork, tools, and mechanical equipment Measure, fit, assemble, and install materials according to job requirements Learn proper sheet metal fabrication and installation techniques while developing your HVAC and mechanical skills Use company-provided tools and equipment safely and responsibly Follow jobsite procedures, specifications, and safety requirements Work alongside experienced skilled trades professionals to complete quality installations Develop the technical skills needed to take on greater responsibilities as you progress

Job requirements No previous Sheet Metal Mechanic experience required Sheet metal, HVAC, ductwork, mechanical, construction, or related skilled trade experience is preferred but not required Willingness to learn sheet metal installation and develop hands-on mechanical skills Dependable and motivated with an interest in building a long-term career in the skilled trades Valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check Must be a U.S. citizen Potomac Mechanical Contractors is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
