Job Description
Essential Requirements Candidates must possess at least four years of professional background in sheetmetal work or comparable trades, including shipfitting, carpentry, or joiner tasks. Preferred Qualifications We value applicants who can effectively utilize and configure sheetmetal equipment like shears and brakes. Success in this role is supported by the ability to interpret marine blueprints, navigate both metric and standard specifications, and demonstrate proficiency during a practical skills evaluation. Role Overview This position involves the construction and mounting of diverse sheet metal components, including ventilation systems, ductwork, instrumentation panels, and main engine exhaust structures. You will be responsible for organizing and mapping out projects by applying shop math and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints.
