• Piedmont Metal LLC is a sheet metal fabrication company in Charlotte. Most of our efforts are directed towards the mechanical contractor, principally, HVAC duct. However, we do make the neat things as well.

Like:

Decorative hoods, backsplashes, countertops, finial and other architectural products defined by the customer. The typical sheet metal materials we work with are: Galvanized Copper Brass Zinc Stainless steel This technician will be a production floor participant. They will be familiar with metal forming equipment, methods and techniques. The use of autocad and CNC equipment is necessary.

Equipment we use include:

Electric shear Plasma table Hydraulic press brake Various roll formers Welding soldering and brazing Laser Welding hand held This technician will be able to take material from start to finish to fulfill customer orders. Most production parts are similar in construction methods but will most often be of varying dimensions. Skills that are required and will be demonstrated during the hiring process are: Reading a tape measure Adding fractional components Autocad or 3D modeling, not required but would be a better candidate Occasionally drive a pick up or rental truck. A valid Driver's License and clean driving record are required Paid time off includes: New years day Easter Good Friday Memorial Day July 4th Labor Day Thanksgiving Christmas Each employee receeives 3 personal or sick days and 5 paid vacation days after 90 days of employment. Our work hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 PM. Lunch brake is 1 hour, 12:00 - 1:00 daily This is a custom fabrication shop. It is cool in the winter and hot in the summer.
