Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Demo of existing ductwork Mentoring apprentice-level sheet metal tradesmen and/or helpers Layout, fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical systems Use proper hand or power tools, as needed to complete task Read, understand, and draw isometric/shop drawings for fabrication Ensure parts and materials are available, received, inventoried, and stored appropriately Ensure all employees follow proper safety procedures and policies Follow all company and job site policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations Other job duties as assigned Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. Employees will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act. Qualifications and Requirements Sheet Metal Journeyman license is required Certification by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) preferred Some travel may be required. Must have personal hand tools for the trade.
