Job Description

Overview Join our manufacturing team at Amundson Roofing as a General Shop Laborer and become a vital contributor to precision metal fabrication. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and inspecting sheet metal components used across our vast roofing ventures. Your expertise will ensure that each piece meets strict quality standards and specifications, supporting the creation of durable, high-quality products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and innovative fabrication techniques in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Duties Work with Auto Sheet Metal Folder- previous experience is a plus. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment such as press brakes, and soldering to assemble and modify sheet metal parts. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to guide fabrication and assembly tasks. Operate forklifts & machinery safely for material handling and movement within the workspace. Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols related to electrical discharge machining, tooling use, and machinery operation. Qualifications No previous experience required- just the willingness to learn & ability to work hard. Experience that may be helpful but not necessary: working with sheet metal fabrication processes including brakes, soldering, auto folder. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings. Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and blueprint interpretation. Experience with hand tools, tooling setup, assembly processes, and fabrication techniques in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of safety procedures related to forklift handling and general machinery safety standards. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
