Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract An interim Pharmacy Manager position is available at a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Rehabilitation hospital located in Washoe Valley, NV. This role involves overseeing pharmacy operations to ensure safe, effective, and compliant medication management within the facility.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage pharmacy staff, facilitating daily operations and maintaining workflow efficiency. Monitor medication distribution and inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy and patient care. Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures aligned with hospital guidelines. Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations. Provide training and mentoring to pharmacy personnel. Manage budgeting and resource allocation for the pharmacy department.

Desired Experience:

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Manager, preferably within a hospital or LTAC/Rehab setting. Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication distribution, and regulatory compliance. Effective leadership and communication skills to manage interdisciplinary teams. Ability to analyze and improve pharmacy processes. Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the state pharmacy board.
