Spot Welder

For over 90 years, Gold Medal has been a leader in the concession industry for both equipment and supplies including popcorn, cotton candy, Sno-Kones and much more. Due to our continued growth, we are excited to announce a Spot Welder opportunity available at our Cincinnati location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review instructions, prints, and work orders for the job. Plan details of working procedures, tools, and material requirements. Fabricates equipment by resistance (spot) welding various metals. Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded. Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly. Accurately and efficiently complete all required tasks and documentation. Communicates effectively with co-workers. Follows safety and housekeeping guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge and use of measuring tools (rulers, micrometers, dial calipers, squares). Experience with basic assembly tools. Must be able to read, follow and understand blueprints, methods, procedural instructions and interpret visual aids. Must be able to perform basic math. High School diploma or GED certificate. One year experience in a sheet metal fabrication or spot-welding operation.
